Eduardo Lora Yunén is an entrepreneur, project originator and finance professional focused on identifying, structuring and advancing investment opportunities across energy, infrastructure, hospitality and trade. Through PTL Group, he works at the intersection of the Dominican Republic and the UAE & GCC, bringing together projects, capital, strategic partners and commercial relationships required to move opportunities toward execution.
His work includes the origination and structuring of voco Churchill, an IHG-branded corporate hospitality development in Santo Domingo, and Multiparque Solar Pedernales, an 850 MW utility-scale solar and battery-storage platform in the Dominican Republic. He is also Founder & CEO of LatAm BioEnergy, an award-winning clean-technology company developing modular biomass gasification-to-energy solutions for agro-industrial applications, and founder of NACOA BioChar, focused on traceable Dominican biochar for international applications.
Eduardo's background combines entrepreneurship with institutional finance. Before developing and originating projects, he worked in banking and treasury in New York and subsequently built more than 15 years of experience across investment analysis, business development, clean technology, energy, real estate and hospitality. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Institutions from Boston University, with additional executive education in AI for Business at MIT and business valuation.
Within PTL, Eduardo's role is principally one of origination and structuring: identifying opportunities where PTL's institutional, legal, financial and commercial capabilities can create value, developing the investment or business case, and bringing together the counterparties required to advance them across markets.
